At 8Rental.com, we are passionate about travel and various types of trips. In fact, we are travel friends. We understand that the benefits of travel can also serve as an important supplement to any education and that is why we have created an exciting scholarship opportunity. We will award a scholarship totaling $1000 to the best contest entrant to use towards educational expenses.
About Eligibility
The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students 18 years of age or older that are currently attending or accepted to a 2 or 4 year university cycle. Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate.
To be eligible, submit a 600-800 word essay on what inspires you to travel and one of the European cities you have already visited or you would love to visit (give a touristic travel map of this city and which transport means have you used or one could use). We will announce the winner in march 2018.
About Essay Topic
In order to compete in the scholarship contest and submit your original essay of 600-800 words, please, have a look on the topics below:
- What European city, do you see as being the most visited in the next 10 years and why?
- Which European city attracts most tourists nowadays and why?
- How one can travel best to a European city so that it will be more interesting to be visited than any other city in the world (describe the means of transport you prefer and why?
- How the visit of the particular European city may help you for your future?
Note that these are only few suggestions. You are free to entitle your essay, as you would like to.

Scholarship Rules & Terms
- Essays must be original works of 600- 800 words written by the applicant.
- Scholarship award winnings will be used to pay for educational expenses (tuition, books, etc.).
- Contest winner is responsible for reporting for the payments of expenses (receipts or any other proofs).
- Employees of 8rental.com and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the scholarship contest.
- Essays become the property of 8rental.com upon submission to the contest.
- This includes all copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary rights.
- You acknowledge that 8rental.com may promote, publish and distribute your essay for marketing or other purposes (such as posting to our blog, social media or website).Essays and other application materials will not be returned to contest entrants.
By submitting your essay to the contest, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless 8rental.com employees and agents against any liability, claims and expenses associated with the scholarship contest or award acceptance or use of the scholarship award funds.
